TPC San Antonio

In 1980, the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass changed the face, and the game, of golf forever. Players found themselves navigating fairways designed by Pete Dye with mystifying angles, and small greens that still command the utmost precision. It was at TPC Sawgrass that the island green was born, an innovation that can haunt players, captivate galleries and raise a round of golf from a game to an art form. Dye has elevated golf once again with the TPC San Antonio. Pete Dye and Greg Norman have each designed 18 holes that pose daunting challenges for even the most experienced golfers.

The TPC network, which includes 28 facilities across the U.S., are licensed by the PGA tour. Both courses at TPC San Antonio are scheduled to open in early 2010.
